The bank mat provides plants with the necessary support in areas of the pond where substrate cannot hold, protecting the pond liner from sunlight. It eliminates unsightly, bare edges of the liner and additionally protects the liner in winter from damage caused by sharp ice during freezing. To fully plant your pond, you need a material that allows the roots of aquatic plants to find optimal support. These plant bags are particularly suitable for planting steep slopes and pond edges, offering optimal support for plants and are easy to handle. The bags can also be easily integrated into existing ponds and can be cut and trimmed as needed. It is recommended to glue the plant bags to the pond liner with our bank mat adhesive to prevent slipping into the pond.
