The light sensor mode only works when the solar panel is connected to the LED solar light. The solar lights automatically turn off during the day and recharge. The light automatically turns on at night. 20-LED High-Brightness Solar Light, Remote Control, and Timer: This dimmable solar light features 20 bright LEDs and 2835 high-quality LEDs. You can set the timer to automatically turn off the light after 0.5, 2, 5, or 10 hours. During the day, weather permitting, connect the solar panel to the light. The solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and stores it in the light's battery. The charged light can then be used as a portable light.
