This detector is compatible with 1.5V AA batteries and requires three batteries to operate.

It cannot detect flammable gases such as natural gas or methane.

Installation

Easy to install, simply attach the detector to a wall or place it on a flat surface. Be sure to place it near areas where carbon monoxide could accumulate, such as near combustion appliances.

Operation

To use the detector, insert the batteries and press the TEST/RESET button to check that it is working properly. The detector will beep if carbon monoxide is detected. The LED indicators show the device's status: red for alarm and green for normal operation. The detection sensitivity is as follows: 50 ppm: alert within 60 to 90 minutes; 100 ppm: alert within 10 to 40 minutes; 300 ppm: alert within 3 minutes. Other information: The permanent sensor remains effective for up to 5 years. It is recommended to replace it after this period to ensure optimal detection.
