First determine the density of the gas in the air, then mount this detector near the gas source within 2.5m. (Note: The density of coal gas and natural gas is lower than air, so they are at a higher level. The density of LPG is lower than that of air, so it is at a lower level)

Make sure the power and signal cables are properly connected to the detector, turn on the power. Then the device will boot as follows:

1. Preheating state. The red LED light flashes once and the speaker emits a sound.

2. Normal condition. The green LED light flashes once per minute for approximately 3 minutes.

3. Monitoring status. The green LED indicator is constantly lit.

To see if the detector is working properly, press the S1 button on the PCB. If the red LED light is on and the speaker makes a sound, it means the detector is working properly.

When the gas density reaches 6% LEL, the LED indicator turns red and flashes, the speaker beeps (the frequency of the alarm beep depends on the gas density, the higher the density, the higher the frequency).

When the emergency situation is resolved, the detector can be reset to normal operating state.

The red LED indicator flashes and the last speaker sounds. If the detector malfunctions, the internal delay gives alarm signals. The detector can be returned to normal once the malfunction has been resolved.

Testing and maintenance

Testing methods: Keep filling the gas hole for at least 5 seconds when the detector is in monitoring state, if the flashing and buzzing alarm sounds, it means the detector is working properly (for example, you can use a gas lamp to perform this test).

This product has high requirements for environmental conditions; Please clean the detector regularly (e.g. remove dust, oil, moisture, etc.). Sensitivity depends greatly on the cleanliness of the area detection.

Precautions:

Do not install this appliance outdoors or in damp locations.

Do not install this device near places where air circulation is very high, such as ventilation areas, fans, doors.

Do not install this appliance in locations isolated from the gas source.

Check that there is not too much chemical liquid used near this detector, such as light fixture, pesticide, ethanol, etc.

In case of malfunction, please check whether the input and output lines are correctly connected. The warranty will be voided if this product is opened by users themselves.
