General description

This AC 220V Standalone Coal Gas Leak Detector is designed to detect natural gas and coal gas leaks effectively. It features a relay output with NC and NO options, making it suitable for various applications. The detector should be installed within 2.5 meters of the gas source for optimal performance.

    • Installation

  • Mount the detector near the gas source within 2.5 meters.
  • Ensure proper connection of power supply and signal cables.
  • Avoid installation outdoors or in humid locations.
  • Do not place near high air circulation areas such as ventilation systems or doors.
  • Ensure the detector is not isolated from the gas source.

    • Usage

  • Upon powering on, the device goes through a warm-up state indicated by a flashing red LED and a sound from the speaker.
  • In normal operation, the green LED flashes once per minute for about 3 minutes.
  • During monitoring, the green LED remains constantly on.
  • To test functionality, press the S1 button; a red LED and sound indicate proper operation.
  • When gas density reaches 6% LEL, the red LED flashes, and the alarm sounds, with frequency increasing with gas density.
  • Reset the detector after an emergency situation is resolved.

    • Other information

  • Regular maintenance is required; clean the detector to ensure sensitivity.
  • Test the detector by filling the gas hole for at least 5 seconds during monitoring.
  • Check for proper connection of input and output lines in case of malfunction.
  • The warranty is void if the product is opened by users.
