This product is specifically designed for the STIHL professional chainsaws MS362, MS382, and MS441. It conforms to the original factory specifications of this series. The clutch unit (including the centrifugal clutch block/clutch assembly) is the heart of the chainsaw's drive system. It is mounted at the end of the crankshaft and automatically controls power transmission via centrifugal force. As soon as the engine reaches its operating speed, the coil is ejected by centrifugal force and engages the clutch drum (outer housing), thus driving the sprocket and chain. For safety reasons, the clutch is disengaged when idling. This product serves as a replacement for the original clutch when it shows significant wear on the coil, spring fatigue, wear on the inner drum wall, or ovalization due to continuous use under heavy load. It resolves problems such as power transmission slippage, low cutting performance, continuous chain running at idle, unusual noises, or clutch overheating and burning.
