9–50 V 2000 W motor controller with 40 A housing, DC brush motor controller, dimming and temperature control module
IMDN12 type DC controller. The controller is a universal 9–50 V DC voltage regulator. The use of an imported FET/specially imported speed controller IC/a circuit board with 2 oz thick 70 µm copper foil and the symmetrical high-current PCB layout ensures a perfect and efficient PWM output waveform. The IMDN12-40A DC controller is positioned as an entry-level model for industrial applications and is characterized by its small size, wide voltage range, high current, low heat generation, high reliability, and low price. Specifications: (1) Operating Voltage: Wide operating voltage range DC 9 V–50 V (2) Control Power: 0.01–2000 W (maximum instantaneous current 40 A, continuous operating current limited to 20 A). Different operating voltages correspond to different control power values as follows:
At an operating voltage of 12 V: 12 V × 40 A = 480 W
At an operating voltage of 24 V: 24 V × 40 A = 960 W
At an operating voltage of 36 V: 36 V × 40 A = 1440 W
At an operating voltage of 40 V: 40 V × 40 A = 1600 W
At an operating voltage of 50 V: 50 V × 40 A = 2000 W
(3) Quiescent current: 0.025 A (at an operating voltage between 10 V and 50 V, the quiescent current is a maximum of 25 mA)
(4) PWM duty cycle: 5% 100 %
(5) PWM frequency: 12 kHz
(6) Operating temperature: -20 °C to 40 °C (ambient temperature -20 °C to +40 °C). This controller is suitable for industrial use and operates stably even at sub-zero temperatures, which is generally not possible with controllers for commercial use.
PCB dimensions: Length 90 mm, width 51 mm, height approx. 30 mm (excluding potentiometer adjustment range).
Notes:
1. For transport, the potentiometer is removed and stored in the housing to prevent damage.
2. When connecting, ensure that the positive and negative terminals of the power supply are not reversed. Reverse polarity is equivalent to a short circuit and results in a very high current flow, which will immediately destroy the controller. Refer to the instructions next to the terminals.
3. The controller is a DC controller and requires a DC power supply between 9 and 50 V. Main applications: 1. Speed control of various brushed DC motors. 2. Speed control of various types of automotive motors (speed control of vehicle fans, windshield wiper motors, air conditioning fans). 3. Speed control of conveyor belts in production lines, speed control of exhaust fans in pipelines, speed control of treadmills, parallel connection of multiple computer fans, and speed control of electronic fans. 4. Dimming of various types of DC lamps, temperature control of various types of DC heaters.
