Description

Welcome to our shop! Discover our mechanical temperature controller, a reliable and versatile device for managing the temperature of your equipment. This thermostat, model ZR011, is made of durable ABS and features an integrated design with normally open and normally closed contacts, giving it a dual heating and cooling function. Its operating principle is based on the action of a bimetallic strip. When the ambient temperature changes, the difference in the coefficients of thermal expansion of the two metals causes the bimetallic strip to bend. This leads to the opening or closing of the electrical contacts: * In **normally closed** mode: The circuit is closed at rest. When the ambient temperature drops towards the (adjustable) setpoint, the thermostat activates the load (e.g., a heater). It deactivates the load when the temperature exceeds the setpoint. * In **normally open** mode: The circuit is open at rest. When the ambient temperature exceeds the setpoint, the thermostat activates the load (e.g., a cooling fan). It stops the load when the temperature drops. This controller automates the start-up of electric heaters or fans, thus helping to maintain an optimal working environment, prevent condensation, and protect sensitive components in electrical cabinets. **Main technical specifications:** **Adjustment range:** 0°C to 60°C.** **Switching accuracy:** ±7K (tolerance ±4K).** **Switching capacity:** 250V AC, 10(2)A or 15(2)A; 30W DC.* **Contact resistance:** < 10mΩ.* **Mechanical life:** > 100,000 cycles.* **Installation method:** On standard 35mm DIN rail (can be installed in any orientation).* **Housing material:** Light gray plastic conforming to UL94 V-0 (fire resistant).* **Operating and storage temperatures:** -20°C to +80°C.* **Protection rating:** IP20.* **Wiring:** 2.5mm² wires.* **Electromagnetic compatibility:** Complies with EN 55014-1-2, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3.** Advantages:** Easy installation, small footprint, long service life, and robust design.** Applications:** Ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. and commercial applications, including telecommunications, wind power equipment, fire safety, ships, the petrochemical industry, large workshops, coastal factories, ports, water treatment plants, and various other equipment.**Your order includes:** 1 x Mechanical Temperature Controller 1 x English User Manual
