Description
Shower Threshold Water Barrier: Can be installed on shower floors, shower trays, kitchen sinks, under bathroom doors, on bathtub edges, around washing machines, or toilets to create a water barrier. This effectively blocks water flow and creates a wet/dry separation, keeping your home dry. Material: The shower threshold water barrier is made of food-grade organic silicone, resistant to corrosion, heat, abrasion, and odorless. It is soft and flexible and can be cut to size if needed. The smooth surface is easy to clean, ensuring a clean and tidy kitchen. Dimensions: The silicone water barrier is only 12 mm high and 20 mm wide and does not restrict movement. It can be easily cut to the desired length. Thanks to the practical self-adhesive backing, it is waterproof, mildew-resistant, and easy to clean: just wipe with a damp cloth. Directions for use: First, clean and dry the countertop (or floor). Cut the silicone sealant strip to the desired length, remove the protective film, and stick it to the smooth surface (in winter, you can heat it with a hair dryer for better adhesion). For corners, we recommend cutting the strip at a 45-degree angle and then joining the two pieces to ensure a secure connection. Note: The silicone sealant is only 12 mm thick, so it may not be sufficient for barrier-free showers and large water surfaces. For a better seal, fill the edges of the water barrier with additional adhesive, such as silicone sealant (additional adhesive not included). Let the sealant dry for 24 hours.
