Installation

Installation below underfloor heating systems on an existing un-insulated concrete or timber sub-floor will greatly reduce heat-up time and running costs. Correct installation methods must be followed to ensure optimal performance.

Usage

Tile backer boards can be used on both walls and floors. They are waterproof and dimensionally stable, making them suitable for wet environments. They can be tiled, plastered, or cladding can be applied, allowing for versatile applications such as the fast creation of tiled partition walls within the home.

Other information

Tile backer boards offer excellent sound insulation, significantly reducing impact sound. They can accept even the heaviest wall tiles, unlike plasterboard. Additionally, they are easy to cut with a sharp knife or fine-tooth saw.
