Alpha - Black Vertical Column Radiator H1800mm x W196mm 2 Column

A vertical column radiator with room-planning flexibility

Bring traditional column character and everyday room comfort together with this Alpha Black vertical radiator. Its 1800mm x 196mm proportions and 2-column steel construction give the design its distinctive profile, while the matt finish helps the radiator contribute to the look of the room as well as its heating.

Why choose this radiator?

• Bring practical warmth into the room: its central-heating design supports energy-efficient room heating as part of a correctly set up hot-water system, helping create a comfortable space through colder weather.
• Use wall height more effectively: the tall, narrow proportions provide traditional column styling without demanding the width of a conventional horizontal radiator.
• Blend traditional form with a modern finish: the black surface gives the familiar column design a sharper, more contemporary character.
• Reduce the risk of defects reaching your home: The 9-step quality assessment process checks the product through a structured series of quality controls before it is dispatched, giving added reassurance around consistent quality and durability.
• Choose a finish tested for long-term durability: 200 hours of salt spray testing assesses resistance to corrosion and rust, helping provide reassurance against flaking, peeling and deterioration of the finish over time.
• Keep the valve choice flexible: compatible valves are sold separately, letting you select the right type and finish for your setup. Use angled valves when pipework rises from the floor to the radiator side, or straight valves when it runs along the wall to meet the side.
• Choose fixing support that suits the wall and radiator weight: plasterboard or cavity walls can be suitable for some smaller column radiators with appropriate fixings, while heavier models will normally need solid masonry or floor-mounted support. Invest with longer-term peace of mind: the 20 years guarantee gives added reassurance when choosing a radiator intended to remain part of your home for years.
• Choose a slimmer column profile: A 2-column radiator has two rows of columns front-to-back, so it projects less into the room than comparable 3- or 4-column designs.
• Spend less time sourcing mounting parts: Wall brackets and masonry fixings are included with this radiator, so you do not need to source those standard supplied parts separately.
• Keep the installation simple without feet: Radiator feet are not included with this version and are not necessary for the radiator to work.
