This Alpha Raw Metal horizontal column radiator combines traditional 2-column styling with proportions chosen to make the radiator part of both the heating plan and the room design. Compatibility and accessories
- Radiator valves are not included and are available separately.
- Angled valves suit pipes coming up from the floor to the radiator side, while straight valves suit pipework running along the wall.
- Wall brackets and masonry fixings are included.
- Bleed valve and blanking plug are included.
Installation
- Choose fixing support that suits the wall and radiator weight: plasterboard or cavity walls can be suitable for some smaller column radiators with appropriate fixings, while heavier models will normally need solid masonry or floor-mounted support.
- Radiator feet are not included with this version and are not necessary for the radiator to function.
Usage
- Connected to a suitable hot-water central-heating system, the radiator is designed to provide fast room heating and steady everyday warmth.
- A 2-column radiator has two rows of columns front-to-back, projecting less into the room than comparable 3- or 4-column designs.
