Compatibility: The G52 safety valve is compatible with Zodiac Polaris 180, 380, 280, 480 PRO, 3900 Sport, Vac-Sweep 380, Vac-Sweep 280, and 280 TankTrax pool cleaners. New Improvement: Compared to the previous model, the housing material has been improved. Made from a blend of crack-resistant polymers, it is more wear-resistant, less prone to damage, and has twice the lifespan. Troubleshooting: We have resolved some common issues and made improvements. If the following situations occur (unit jamming in reverse, continuous water leakage, malfunction, and risk of explosion), the gearbox may be intact. If the problem is due to a center misalignment, open the housing, check the alignment of the outer gear of the G53, and correct it. G53 Gear Mechanism: Made of POM, a wear-resistant and durable material, it can operate continuously even under extremely high water pressure. However, an excessive amount of sand can cause the gearbox to jam. In this case, remove the grinding wheel, clean the sand, and continue working. Also note that the continuous water jet mentioned in customer reviews caused the Polaris to float. This was due to excessive local water pressure, far exceeding the adaptive water pressure. We have made improvements to address this.
