Product Descriptions
Attaching/Removing a Whisk: To attach a wire whisk:
1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the stand mixer or unplug the power cord.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Slide the whisk onto its shaft and push it up as far as it will go.
5. Turn the whisk clockwise, hooking it onto the shaft pin.
6. Plug it into a grounded, 3-prong outlet.
To remove the wire whisk:
1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the stand mixer or unplug the power cord.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Push the beater upwards as far as possible and turn it to the left.
5. Pull the beater off the beater shaft.
Adjusting the gap between the beater and the bowl:
If the metal beater hits the bottom of the bowl or has moved too far away from the bowl, you can easily correct the gap:
1. Turn the speed control to OFF.
2. Unplug the stand mixer or unplug the power cord.
3. Tilt the motor head back.
4. Slightly turn the beater height adjustment screw counterclockwise (left) to raise the beater or clockwise (right) to lower it.
5. Make the necessary adjustments so that the beater only clears the surface of the bowl. If you adjust the screw too much, you may not be able to lock the motor head when it is lowered.
