Cut the tape to the desired length and round the corners. 3. Remove the backing paper and stick the tape to the desired location. (For best results, gently heat the tape with a hairdryer on a low setting.) 4. Apply even pressure from the center of the tape outwards. (Leave the strip in place for 24 hours.) 5. Place the light strip under a light source for a while so that it glows in the dark. It is recommended to leave the light strip shining for 15 to 20 minutes after it has absorbed light. The light source may remain dim for a while. (The more light it absorbs, the dimmer it will be and the longer it will last before gradually fading out.) If the light is dim, that's normal; it will become very bright as soon as it is "recharged."
