Installation:
1. Place the lock in the pre-cut hole, tighten it with the self-tapping screw, then strike the lock hook to ensure proper operation, then retract the lock onto the lock body.
2. Remove the key, the lock onto the footplate or vertical beam, the lock body through the transverse hole, and the outer plate near the outside of the door.
3. Adjust the button's direction according to the locking mechanism and insert the button hole on the inner compound plate into the locking mechanism. Then, align the two screw holes on the inner compound plate with the two studs on the front outer panel. Finally, secure the inner and outer panels with two M4 screws. If the locking mechanism is too long, it must be trimmed accordingly.
4. Install the latch plate and latch housing: Install the latch plate and latch housing in a symmetrical position on the door frame so that the latch can be smoothly inserted and removed.
5. After installation, test the door. First, insert the key into the latch and try to open it.The locking hooks should be fully depressed and move smoothly. Then remove the key and use the knob to try to open it. The locking hook should engage and move smoothly. The door opens with a key or a knob, and the lock is pushed into the door; it should move smoothly.
