Welcome to our shop! This automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is designed to control the output of gasoline-powered generators. It connects to the generator via multiple wires to stabilize the voltage. By increasing or decreasing the generator's control voltage, the generator's output voltage increases or decreases accordingly. This voltage regulator is suitable for 6.5kW, 7kW, and 8.5kW 2-phase, 6-wire generators. It features an ABS housing for excellent protection. Specifications: - Material: ABS - Application: For 6.5kW to 8.5kW gasoline generators (450V 680VF) - Starting Method: Electric start Please note: 1) A higher-power AVR works perfectly on a lower-power generator, but a lower-power AVR cannot be used with a higher-power generator. 2) Most replacement AVRs on the market are only rated at 5kW and can only handle a maximum power of 6kW. They are too weak to be used unless your generator's total load does not exceed 5 kW. 3) If our AVR requires adjustment for your generator, please manually turn a small bronze screw located in a blue rubber part clockwise or counterclockwise to achieve the desired output power. Turning clockwise increases the voltage, and turning counterclockwise decreases it. 4) There may be a capacitor voltage regulator installed in your generator.
