Step 2: Stay at least 2cm away from any metal object, then press the switch key to turn on the device. Step 3: Zero the instrument using the "zero calibration" feature before testing. Step 4: Place the probe vertically on the surface until a drop sound is heard, then lift it at least 2cm away to perform the next measurement. Usage Ensure the tester is perpendicular to the test surface at a 90-degree angle when measuring paint thickness. If the automatic shutdown function is enabled, the device will turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
