Product information
Description
Features: 1. This product has built-in magnetic induction and a dual vortex probe, automatically identifying the metallic substrate being measured. Simply place it on the surface to automatically calculate the coating thickness. 2. With a digital backlit display, this car paint thickness gauge allows for clear reading of data in the evening or in dark environments. 3. The measurement unit can be set between mm and mil to accommodate different measurement requirements. 4. When measuring paint thickness, the tester should be perpendicular to the test surface at a 90° angle. 5. This portable coating thickness gauge can measure the thickness of non-metallic coatings (such as paint, film, etc.) on metallic substrates quickly, accurately, and without damaging the surface. 6. It is primarily used to measure the surface paint thickness of vehicles and other coatings. Specification: Features: This product has built-in magnetic induction and a dual vortex probe, which can automatically identify the metallic substrate being measured. Simply place it on the surface to automatically calculate the coating thickness. With a digital backlit display, this car paint thickness gauge allows for clear readings even in the evening or dark. The measurement unit can be set between mm and mil to accommodate different measurement requirements. When measuring paint thickness, the tester should be held perpendicular to the test surface at a 90° angle. This portable coating thickness gauge can quickly, accurately, and destructively measure the thickness of non-metallic coatings (such as paint, film, etc.) on metallic substrates. It is primarily used to measure the surface paint thickness of vehicles and other coatings. Measurement Steps: Step 1. Prepare the parts to be tested. Step 2. Move at least 2 cm away from the metallic object and press the power button to activate. Note: It is suggested that the instrument be zeroed, referring to the "zero calibration" test. Step 3. The probe is placed vertically and quickly on the surface to be measured until a drop is heard, and the measured value is displayed on the screen. Then, the probe is raised at least 2 cm from the part to be measured, and the next measurement can be taken. Note: If the auto-off function is activated and there is no operation within 3 minutes, the instrument will automatically shut off.
