GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The digital depth gauge measures from 0 to 25 mm with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. It features a large LCD display and allows zeroing in any position, making tests and measurements more precise. It is easy to read and use and features a conversion system for inches and millimeters. This gauge is ideal for measuring tire tread depth, brake pad wear, and brake lining wear. TECHNICAL DATA Measuring range: 0–25 mm Accuracy: 0.01 mm Display: Large LCD display Power supply: Manual on/off Zeroing: Any position Conversion system: Metric/inch Applications: Tire tread depth, brake pad wear INSTALLATION To use the gauge, zero it in any position. Place the gauge vertically on the tire surface, insert the measuring probe into the tread depth, and read the displayed measurement. APPLICATION: It is recommended to take several measurements and calculate the average to obtain an accurate reading. Replace the tires when the tread depth is less than 1.6 mm. In case of rapid wear, the measuring tips should be replaced when the depth is less than 3 mm. In case of normal wear due to rain or snow, they should be replaced when the depth is less than 4 mm. FURTHER INFORMATION WARNING: Keep the gauge clean. Avoid oil on the measuring shaft. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period. The display will flash when the battery is low. If a display error occurs, remove the battery for 30 seconds.
