The backlit LCD screen is a key feature: it continuously displays the carbon monoxide concentration in ppm (parts per million), allowing you to anticipate problems before alarm thresholds are reached. It also displays the ambient temperature, battery level, and operating status of the device.

Three colored LED indicators (usually green/orange/red) visually indicate the current status: normal, alert, or alarm. High-precision, high-reliability electrochemical sensor. Unlike inexpensive semiconductor sensors, this product uses an electrochemical sensor, the gold standard for home carbon monoxide detection. Advanced Alarm Algorithm and Safety Features

This device triggers different alarms depending on the level of danger:

Early Alarm: Triggered after a certain time at moderate concentrations.

Emergency Alarm: Triggered immediately at high, potentially lethal concentrations.

The Test/Mute button allows for weekly functional checks (including audible and electronic tests) and temporarily disables the sound for 5 minutes (to detect false alarms), after which the device resumes normal operation. This button can also indicate a sensor malfunction or a low battery.

This product operates on 3 standard AA batteries (not included), allowing it to function normally even during a power outage.

It must be installed in bedrooms, near combustion chambers, and in main living areas, at floor level (approximately 1.5 meters). Its operating temperature range is 0 to 45°C and its maximum humidity level is 90%, making it suitable for basements, garages, and laundry rooms. An indicator light flashes every 45 seconds to show that it is powered on.
