SUITABLE SIZE: The butyl tape is approximately 4 meters long and 9.5 mm thick. It is long enough to reseal about 3 sets of headlights and can be easily cut to size. Its paintable feature makes your installation area a seamless, clean, dry, and durable waterproof workspace.
FEATURES: The butyl sealant is made of synthetic composite rubber for a non-drying, non-hardening, and extremely high working temperature. It offers durable viscosity, elasticity, sealing, leak-proof, rust-proof, anti-deformation, and anti-vibration properties. It is also weather-resistant, age-resistant, non-toxic, odorless, and easy to use.
EASY TO USE: Simply tear off the paper seal and press firmly around the seam. The weld point must be dry, clean, and free of dust, oil, and grease. The ideal installation temperature is approximately 10 degrees Celsius. Too low a temperature will make the tape stiffer, which may take slightly longer to cure.
WORKING MODEL: Reliably seals against wind, water, dust, oil, steam, moisture, corrosive chemicals, and other leaks; suitable for use on glass, fiberglass, wood, coated or uncoated metals, plastic, and rubber in tight corners, unusual curves, and uneven and irregular surfaces.
