For existing plantings, cross cuts or openings suited to the size of the plants can be made. The membrane must be covered with a finishing material or held with fixing staples to remain correctly positioned.

Installation and usage advice

Before laying, weed the surface carefully and remove stones, branches and debris that could damage the fabric. Level the ground to obtain a regular base. Then unroll the membrane over the area to protect, and cut it cleanly if necessary. When joining two strips, allow sufficient overlap to prevent weeds developing in open spaces.

Fix the fabric to the ground at regular intervals with suitable staples or stakes, particularly on the edges and in wind-exposed areas. For a more aesthetic finish and better protection, cover the membrane with gravel, chips, bark or another decorative mulch. When planting, cut only the necessary opening around each plant.
