Description

General description

Smartseal Block Magic is a premium blend of liquid pigments and acrylic resins designed to rejuvenate and protect block paving driveways and patios. This product effectively restores the color lost due to sun exposure, rain, vehicle traffic, and pressure washing, making your paving look like new again. It is suitable for application on various types of block paving, but should not be used on clay pavers or in combination with polyurethane products.

Volume: 25 Litres

Coverage: Approximately 3 m²/litre (2.5 m²/litre on old pavers)

Application method: Roller

Drying time: 3 hours before re-sanding; tack-free within 2 hours at 20°C

Foot traffic allowed after 4 hours; vehicles after 24 hours at 20°C

Temperature range for application: 12°C to 23°C

Flash point: 40°C (Abel-Closed Cup)

Installation

Ensure paving is pressure washed to remove all debris and muck from joints.

Leave paving to dry for 5 clear and dry days.

For original sand color: Apply one coat of Block Magic with a roller, then re-sand with kiln-dried sand.

For changing sand color: Apply two coats of Block Magic with a roller, allowing 2 hours between coats.

Ensure no rainfall is forecast for at least 8 hours after application.

Usage

After applying the sealer, expect 3-5 years of protection, depending on traffic, weather, and maintenance.

Clean all equipment with Smartseal cleaning fluid after use.

Avoid applying deicing salts directly on sealed block paving.

Smartseal Block Paving sealer has been tested for skid resistance and meets the SRV for local authority pedestrian areas.

All materials comply with ISO 9002 for Quality Assurance.
