Up to 25x better dust reduction than a Bosch EXPERT SDS plus-7X Drill Bit
Advanced Dust Reduction drilling in reinforced concrete
Highly efficient dust removal with Bosch Particle Control. Dust moves from the working surfaces into the extraction system, improving air quality and the accessories’ performance.
Highly resistant drill tip connection thanks to Bosch’s special welding process: This makes a perfect weld between flute and carbide head that withstands heavy-duty hammer drilling.
Punch through reinforced concrete with a full carbide head: A highly effective 4-cutter tip made entirely from the hardest metal.
Fits all SDS plus rotary hammers
Drilling accurate holes in concrete is just one step in the process of installing chemical anchors. Next come time-consuming cleaning rounds. It’s different when you use the EXPERT SDS Clean plus-8X. It drills holes and removes dust at the same time, making installing chemical anchors faster and simpler.
Blow-out pumps, hole brushes, vacuum cleaners, and time – you need all of them to clean the holes you’re preparing for chemical anchors. Well, not anymore. At Bosch, we keep thinking about solutions that simplify the way you work. This time we’ve come up with the EXPERT SDS Clean plus-8X. It drills through concrete and rebars and removes dust as you’re drilling. This means you can drill clean holes faster and have less dust in the air you breathe.
We made the EXPERT SDS Clean plus-8X drill bit for construction workers and installers who need to drill holes for chemical anchors. The drill bit comes with a 4-cutter full carbide head and robust dust extractor pipe. It works with the SDS Clean plus Connector, which fits all SDS Clean plus-8X drill bits and is easy to mount and detach. What you get is a powerful drill bit you can easily clean when it's clogged (by simply removing the extractor pipe from the drill bit) and a new dust reduction technology helping you prepare holes for chemical anchors faster and keep the air on the jobsite cleaner.

From hammer drills to hole saws, follow our guide to find out how best to drill into your walls.
In 1886, Robert Bosch, a 25-year-old German engineer, founded an electrical engineering company in Stuttgart. He was returning from a long professional trip to the United States that had led him to work for Thomas Edison, one of the greatest engineers in history. Bosch improved the ignition magnet the following year, to be the first to adapt it to a car engine. This innovation allowed him to develop his business at a steady pace. In the 1920s, he converted his company from automotive supplier to electronics manufacturer. The company has been able to distinguish itself from other brands of DIY power tools by aiming for long-term and high-end, from its famous green drill to complex products such as rippers or garden tools (sculpts -hays, chainsaws ...). This was the success we know. Bosch currently employs 280,000 people worldwide and generates 46 billion euros in sales. Bosch spends up to 10% of its turnover on R & D, a rare effort in the industry. 92% of the capital of Robert Bosch GmbH is held by a charitable foundation Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. Thus the profits of the company are donated to this foundation. The remaining 8% of capital is held by the descendants of Robert Bosch's family.
