The Bosch 0601B47000 Mitre Saw Bare Unit is a perfect tool for professional carpenters and kitchen fitters. This 1,600W saw allows for long and accurate cross, mitre and bevel cuts in wooden beams and boards. This combined with a durable 216mm saw, speed selection and ECO mode means the GCM18V-216DC can also cut through tough materials such as aluminium and plastic as well. The GCM18V-216DC’s power is comparable to that of a corded tool due to the motor using Bosch’s BITURBO brushless technology and a two-point dust extraction means that you can keep your worksite safe and clean while an in-built LED work light allows for safe usage in dimly lit areas.
The GCM18V-216DC is also precise due to integrated side extensions that offer accurate cuts and increased control during use. Even with awesome power the GCM18V-216DC is light (15.3kg) and compact to allow for easy transportation. It is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V System batteries and chargers, but if you want absolute maximum performance Bosch recommend you use this tool with the ProCORE18V 5.5Ah battery.
The GCM18V-216DC is sold as a bare/naked machine so batteries and chargers must be purchased separately. This is based on the optimum coordination of their specially developed, brushless high-performance motor with electronics and battery that allows for usage of high-power currents and therefore the entire potential of the ProCore18V batteries with 8.0 and 12.0 Ah.
