It conforms to the original factory specifications for the brake plate assembly of this series. This assembly is intended for one chainsaw. Chain safety braking system: The main actuator is typically integrated into the front hand guard or side cover mechanism. Upon force feedback or manual actuation of the front hand guard, the brake disc, actuated by a linkage, instantly engages the rapidly rotating clutch drum. This forces a stop of the saw chain within milliseconds. Brake pads are the primary active safety barrier against serious injury. Replacing original brake pads that have become deformed, worn, broken, or defective due to long-term use, frequent braking, impacts, or aging can fully restore the vital emergency braking function of the chainsaw, thus ensuring the operator's personal safety.
