Do I need to install an adapter? 1) If your faucet has an internal thread (female thread) and the internal thread diameter is about 23.5-24mm, install the aerator with the adapter (M24) on your faucet.2. 2) If your faucet has an external thread (female thread) and the thread diameter is about 21.5 to 22 mm, remove the adapter and install the aerator (M22) directly on your faucet.
