Description
Digital Cable & Cable Types: Three selectable scanning modes: Digital Mode/Analog Mode/PoE Mode. The NF-8209 works with CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a (STP and UTP), telephone, coaxial cable, and more.
Fault Distance Locator & Hub Flasher: Measure the cable length and accurately locate the fault distance for LAN cables. The range is 200 m. Locate the network port by the flashing port light on the hub/switch. Available for 10 m/100 m hub/switch.
PoE Information Test & Range: Identify which pins are supplying power and the voltage present. Identify the PSE type (at/af). Identify the power voltage, power polarity, and mode of non-standard PoE devices. Test range for current, voltage, and power consumed by DC devices. Standard DC 5~60V/non-standard PoE device.
Cable Continuity Test: Test the physical condition of LAN and UTP cables; check for short circuits, crossovers, and breaks in the network cable.
Non-Contact Voltage Detection: Detects the presence of NCV AC voltage (50V–1000V). The receiver can be used to detect the AC voltage of household electrical lines.
