Installation

To install the detector, follow these steps: Unscrew the back plate of the detector. Screw the plate to the wall or ceiling. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included). Place the detector on the back plate and rotate it into position.

Operation

The detector emits an audible warning signal when the batteries are low, allowing for easy replacement. The LCD screen displays real-time CO values, with a blue backlight activated when levels exceed 30 PPM.

Installation Tips: Install on the ceiling or wall, away from areas such as the garage, kitchen, boiler room, or bathroom.

Do not install in locations where the temperature will be below 4.4°C (40°F) or above 37.8°C (100°F). Avoid vaulted or sloped ceilings.

Install at least 15 feet away from any combustion appliance. Install at least one foot away from fluorescent lights.

Position the detector so that curtains or other objects do not block the sensor. Avoid excessively dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.
