Self-test function and informative LCD screen: When powered on, the device beeps and the red LED flashes once. The LCD screen displays "888". Press the test button: another beep sounds and the red LED flashes again. It displays the real-time carbon monoxide concentration and memorizes the last recorded dangerous level. The display of "Err" on the LCD screen indicates a malfunction. The display of "Lb" indicates a low battery and the need to replace it. After 3 seconds of displaying "000", the device resumes normal operation.
