The industrial-grade Class A caulking gun features a lightweight, rotating composite body that accepts 10-ounce cartridges and has a 15:1 gear ratio for use with latex, acrylic, and silicone.
The rotating body allows the gun to maintain the same orientation when sealing around corners. The hook on top allows it to be hung on a ladder.
A caulking gun, also called a putty gun or laser gun, dispenses products such as sealants, gaskets, adhesives, and cartridges or lasers in a controlled manner.
A manual caulking gun consists of a frame to hold the cartridge, a trigger, and a rod that moves forward when the trigger is pulled to dispense the product. Manual caulking guns have a 15:1 gear ratio. The higher the thrust ratio, the easier it is to apply sealant, putty, or adhesive. Pneumatic cartridge guns also consist of a frame and trigger, but are used with a pressure regulator that ejects the product from the compressed air hose instead of a rod.
