The Industrial Grade Caulking Gun has a lightweight revolving composite structure that accommodates 10-ounce cartridges and has a 15:1 thrust ratio for use with latex, acrylic, and silicone.
The revolving structure allows the body to rotate to maintain the same bead orientation when caulking around corners. The hook on the top allows it to hang on a ladder.
Caulking guns, also called sealant or laser guns, dispense a controlled stream of products such as sealants, gaskets, glues, and a tube or laser.
A manual caulking gun consists of a frame for storing the tube, a trigger, and a rod that moves forward when the trigger is pressed, dispensing the product. Manual caulking guns have a thrust ratio; the higher the thrust ratio, the easier it is to dispense the sealant, mastic, or adhesive.
Air-powered or pneumatic caulking guns also have a frame and a trigger, but are used with an air pressure regulator that pushes the product from the tube with air pressure instead of a wand.
