The hang-on filter can be used for aquariums with a water volume ranging from 38 to 115 liters. The pump has a flow rate of 500 liters per hour. The flow rate of the hang-on filter can be continuously adjusted to suit the size of the aquarium.
The CBG-500 hang-on filter with UVC unit provides two filtrations in one: biological and mechanical.
Installation:
Assembling the hang-on aquarium filter is very simple and takes only a few minutes.
You can hang the filter housing either on the side or the back of the aquarium. An adjustable spacer allows for correct positioning. The aquarium pump is installed only inside the aquarium. Filter media: You will receive the fully equipped hanging filter with filter cloth, filter sponge, activated carbon, and bio balls. Filter Sponge – Filter Cloth: Thanks to the filter floss, large dirt particles can be trapped. The sponges reduce nitrates, filter the water of chemical impurities, and provide favorable conditions for the colonization of beneficial bacteria. Activated Carbon: Activated carbon binds substances containing urea and humin, as well as pesticides, metabolites, and similar products. Bio Balls: The bio balls offer bacteria a large surface area for colonization and are very effective, especially for filling large filtration systems. The key feature of the CBG-500 is its integrated UVC unit. Aquarium water flows first through the UV clarifier. Thanks to the ultraviolet rays from the lamp (5W), harmful algae, bacteria, and germs are eliminated. This limits algae growth.
