Description
The thread repair kit includes thread inserts, drill bit, tap, insert installer, terminal break-off tool, allows you to have a smooth repair experience.
Comes with 25pcs M6 x 1.0mm thread inserts, ideal for restoring damaged threads, stripped internal threads and creating a stronger internal thread in soft metals.
Drilling: Clean the damaged threads with a standard drill. (To repair a spark plug thread, no pre-drilling is necessary if you use the special spark plug tap), please note that for non-fluted taps, larger holes are required.
Install the insert: Place the insert on the installer tool and position the adjustable ring so that the insert shank is centered in the slot of the tang. Wind the insert with slight downward pressure to a half turn below the surface. Do not work in the direction of the thread as the shank may break.
Widely Used: Ideal for repairing damaged or worn threads, suitable for engine and other automotive repairs. Can be used in daily repair, car repair, drilling machine.
