A lovely table, easy to assemble and looks great

The table looks great in our dining room and is exactly what we were looking for at a fraction of the price. I was considering buying the materials to make my own table rather than fork out the £800 I was seeing quoted on other sites for a similar table. For not much more than the cost of the raw materials I needed I got this table which came with instructions and the fixtures needed to extend it to an 8 seater easily when we have guests. I was nervous due to other reviews mentioning the surface is unfinished and needed sanding down, but I just applied 2 coats of clear furniture wax and buffed it with a lint free cloth which seemed to smooth the surface out (all done by hand so no extra equipment needed). I would note that there were a couple of chips in the wood, but it's not noticeable once the table is assembled and wax is applied. I'm extremely happy with the look of the table and would recommend to anyone wanting the 'industrial' look on a smaller budget. Delivery was also very quick - it arrived within 2 days rather than the 5-7 we were expecting!

Unfortunately the table arrived damaged and the seller has not been in touch to replace or refund.

Absolutely love my new table, so easy to put together aswell.
