Installation
- Insert 1 x 1.5V AA battery into the handle compartment
- Ensure that the probes are clean before use
Usage
Before using the tester for the first time, adjust it to your pool or spa water:- Test the water with a conventional liquid test kit
- Record the chlorine level
- For pH, no adjustment is required
- To test the chlorine level:
- Position the needle at the setting point
- Insert the probes into the water up to the black band
- Wait for the needle to stabilize for an accurate reading
- To test the pH:
- Turn the dial to "pH" when the probes are in the water
- Wait for the needle to stabilize to read the pH
Other information
- Do not immerse the probe in liquids other than pool or spa water
- Keep the tester dry and in a cool place
- Turn the switch to the off position when not in use
