How to Use 1. How to attach the rope to the ascender? Hold the ascender so that the arrow points upwards (or in the opposite direction to the rope's movement); pull the safety loop outwards and secure it to the body with a clip; place the rope between the device body and the cam; lock it in place. And make sure the cam grips the rope firmly. 2. How to remove the rope from the ascender? When removing the rope from the ascender, remember that when the operator releases the safety lock, the ascender should tend to move upwards or in the direction of the arrow. Its function is to protect the rope sheath from wear. 3. Operating Principle The mounted cam allows the device to move smoothly along the rope or in the direction of the arrow, but grips the rope when pulled in the opposite direction.
