Product information

Description

This product is specifically designed for the STIHL Professional Series lawn mowers/brushcutters FS350, FS400, FS450, and FS480. It conforms to the original factory specifications. The passive drive pulley (clutch disc/drive pinion) is an essential component of the transmission system. It is typically mounted on the engine output shaft or the transmission input shaft and engages with the clutch shoes. Its function is to engage the clutch once the engine reaches its operating speed. It transmits the engine power smoothly and efficiently to the flexible drive shaft, thus driving the cutting head. Replacing the original drive pulley due to wear from heavy loads, deformation from overheating, damage to the tooth flank, or imbalance can effectively resolve problems such as slippage in power transmission, unusual vibrations and noise, reduced cutting performance, or decreased transmission efficiency. It also helps restore a stable and powerful power supply to the machine.
