Main function --- This clutch tool is a piston stop for maintenance, necessary to hold the crankshaft in place. The ends are machined along the entire radius to prevent damage to the top of the piston. Operating Instructions: Simply remove the cover, screw this tool into place, and tighten lightly. Easy to use and very convenient if you are making your own saw or doing other 2-cycle work. Easy to Use: Rotate the engine clockwise or counterclockwise until the piston engages the tool and is ready for use. Note that most chainsaws have left-hand threads on the clutch side. Easy Disassembly: Simply remove the spark plug, screw the tool in, and tighten lightly. Remove the spark plug, screw the tool into place, and press lightly.
