The adapter you purchased is supplied with an SAE J2534 compliant interface (an SAE standard for reprogramming electronic modules). For DPA5, it must be possible to reprogram all CAN/ISO15765 vehicles, for vehicles using the J1850 variable pulse width protocol (i.e., vehicles using DPA5 J2534 protocol supported (i.e., ISO9141/KWP2000)).
