In car mode, it can directly measure the coating thickness of iron, aluminum, and zinc substrates, suitable for measuring coating thickness on automobiles. [User Mode] In GM200A user mode, after calibrating the metal substrate, the user can only measure the coating thickness of that metal surface, but not other metals. For example, if you are calibrating an iron substrate, you cannot measure the coating thickness of an aluminum substrate. [User Model Calibration] According to the user model calibration, the GM200A substrate diameter must be ≥50 mm and the substrate thickness must be ≥0.5 mm. The critical thickness of the GM200A relative to the base metal is ≥0.5 mm. [Measurement Setup] Calibrating the GM200A's user mode will not affect the car mode. The GM200A's car mode is the default factory setting. The GM200A's default factory setting uses an iron substrate for user model calibration. [Edge Effect] The GM200A is sensitive to sudden changes in the shape of the sample surface. Therefore, it is unreliable to measure near the edge or inside corner of the object being measured. The GM200A can only measure non-metallic coatings.
