Compatible LG LT800P water filter cartridge
installation method:
1. Remove the top shelf.
If the upper shelf, located under the water filter, is in its highest position, it will need to be removed. This can be done in two simple steps:
-Tilt the front of the shelf up and lift it up.
-Remove the shelf.
2. Remove the old water filter.
Pull the old water filter down and turn it counterclockwise to remove it.
Be sure to rotate the filter all the way down and remove it from the collector hole.
3. Install a new water filter.
Remove a new water filter from its packaging and remove the protective cap from the O-ring.
With the filter tabs in a horizontal position, push the new filter into the manifold hole, rotate it into place, and close the cap.
4. Remove trapped air.
After replacing the filter, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system.
Press and release the dispenser pad for a 30-second on and off cycle rather than continuous dispensing.
If your model has a water filter light on the screen, press and hold the Filter button.
Or press the reset button for about 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.
