Description

General description

The Concrete Sealer and Dustproofer is a thinned-down version of the standard concrete sealer, designed for enhanced penetration into surfaces, providing superior dustproofing qualities, particularly on power-floated concrete floors. This versatile product serves as a concrete floor sealer, garage floor sealer, and is ideal for sealing power-floated concrete surfaces. It effectively prevents concrete dusting on newly laid floors or walls, eliminating potentially harmful dust from work areas.

Technical specifications

Application coverage: 4 - 6m² per litre, per coat

Flash point: 42°C (Abel-Closed Cup)

Installation

Pressure clean or sweep the concrete to remove dirt or debris.

Ensure the surface is completely dry before application.

Apply using a sprayer unit or roller, keeping the sprayer head moving to avoid pooling.

Allow the first application to dry past tacky before applying a second coat.

Avoid application in strong, direct sunlight and do not apply if rain is expected within 3 hours.

Usage

Do not apply deicing salts directly onto the concrete sealer, as they can cause water ingress and damage the seal.

Be aware that subsequent freezing may break the seal, leading to visible white pitted areas.

Smartseal Concrete Sealer has been tested by the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) and meets the Skid Resistance Value (SRV) for all categories of paving.

Health & Safety: Flammable liquid. Do not smoke, keep the application area well ventilated, and wear a respirator during application. Store in a cool place.
