The CONSORT CLAUDGEN CN2MLSTiE is a safe, controllable 2kW fan heater designed for environments where low surface temperature and reliability matter, such as nurseries, hospitals and retirement homes. It limits maximum surface temperature to 43°C to reduce burn risk and complies with NHS Estates guidance. The unit features an electronic 7-day timer with six heating periods per day and a cell battery to back up the real-time clock. Digital controls and a clear display provide four tactile buttons and four operating modes: Programme, Boost, Setback and Manual. Additional functions include a 15-minute Boost, Copy Day schedule transfer, comfort temperature range (15°C–35°C) and setback/frost protection (4°C–15°C). Safety features include an automatic overheat cut-out, electronic child lock, mesh grille and safety monitoring with an LED fault indicator. The heater uses an EC motor for improved energy efficiency, operates quietly, and employs intelligent fan control to avoid blowing cold air. Open window detection saves energy by pausing heating when a sudden temperature drop is detected and resuming operation when the window is closed.
