I've had this before and had to hunt it down to get and use again as it changed name, still carrying the De.Solv.It branding, but now found under 'Mykal'. Years ago I phoned the tech support to ask about using it as a way to clean glass of the double glazing unit sealant left when repurposing panes and was advised [and true to their word] it can do that, which is above and beyond what many products are capable of - since then I've used it to clean down on chipboard and edging strip jobs, I've decanted some for a friend to take away and use on a cooking oil mark in clothing to give extra stain removal during the laundry process, and so on. I would recommend protecting your hands, it can dry skin, and advise against a latex glove as these will soon disintegrate. Just as long as you wash and moisturise to replenish after though you won't have an issue with even bare skin. I did try it on printed Correx™ but I also spoke with a signage company and they advised it would not be possible to fully clean them down as the surface is keyed before printing so the bond is optimised - and sure enough you can see under a microscope that the print is more encrusted than a veneer, would therefore require an exact amount of sand[paper]ing - The De.Solv.It does nevertheless fetch off any excess, but it's an all or nothing job and the effort required on a single piece of the board isn't justifed, not even with sanding, if only purely due to the waste created, but it is a prolonged repetitive task, so was easier to add a masking layer instead. In summary, you could keep this pump spray handy for so many jobs that you'd wonder how you ever managed without it.
