It is then essential to recharge the battery immediately or replace it with a fully charged one to prevent damage. At the next voltage drop, the control unit reduces the power by an additional 50%. After a certain period, to preserve the battery, the control unit completely shuts off the flashlight. This clearly indicates that the battery is discharged and needs to be recharged.
