Note:
1. With an input voltage of 6–12 V, the two-stage output produces a 1.5 cm long, high-energy purple arc that instantly ignites. The single high-voltage line can also be discharged on any metal object and operates silently.
2. Regarding input power: 3. 7V lithium batteries, e.g., 18650 batteries, unused mobile phone batteries, or nickel-cadmium/NiMH batteries, as well as 4V or 12V lead-acid batteries, can be connected in series.
Precautions for using the module:
1. Do not switch on the device without a load. Before switching on, adjust the correct distance to the high-voltage terminal. The arc distance to the high-voltage line is proportional to the voltage and battery capacity. 2. Measure the arc distance experimentally from the shortest to the longest value. The maximum arc distance must not be exceeded (0.026 < 1.5 cm, 1 cm is permissible). Otherwise, the energy cannot be released due to the high voltage, and the modules are easily damaged.
3. The power supply and internal heat dissipation of the module are inefficient, so it cannot be operated for extended periods.
