Derry Bold - Black Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit Straight 15mm (130mm version)

More individual control for your radiator

The Derry Bold Black thermostatic radiator valve and matching lockshield give you room-by-room control over an individual radiator while keeping the installation visually coordinated. Its straight 15mm fitting and liquid sensor combine practical connection design with automatic thermostatic response as the room temperature changes.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Fine-tune warmth one radiator at a time: Thermostatic control lets this radiator react to the temperature of its own room rather than relying only on the main heating controls.
• Use less unnecessary heat in rooms that are already warm: By reducing hot-water flow when the room is warm enough, the valve can help limit unnecessary heating in that space.
• Keep a layer of frost protection in reserve: Its frost-protection function can allow some flow at very low temperatures, helping reduce the risk of water freezing in the radiator and nearby pipework.
• Avoid sourcing a matching lockshield separately: Both the thermostatic side and matching lockshield are included, simplifying the parts you need to source for the radiator.
• Match the fitting to the direction of your pipework: Straight valves suit side-entry radiator layouts where the pipework runs along the wall to meet the radiator.
• Adjust the radiator to suit how you use the room: Multi-temperature adjustment lets the radiator be set to a more appropriate comfort level for the room.
• Use a sensor that reacts as the room warms and cools: The liquid sensor responds to changes in surrounding temperature to operate the thermostatic mechanism automatically.
• Choose a finish that complements the installation: The modern valve shape keeps the installation looking clean and contemporary. The Black colour with a matt finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Buy with longer-term reassurance: The included 3 years guarantee adds confidence when choosing a valve set for ongoing everyday use.
