Derry Traditional - Anthracite Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit Angled 15mm (130mm version)

Room-by-room comfort with thermostatic radiator control

This traditional Derry Traditional TRV set pairs a thermostatic radiator valve with a matching lockshield, helping you manage the warmth of an individual room without relying only on the main heating controls. The angled body connects to 15mm pipework, while the wax sensor responds automatically to changes in room temperature.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Set each room's warmth more independently: The valve automatically alters hot-water flow through the individual radiator in response to the room temperature and selected setting.
• Reduce unnecessary radiator heating: Automatic flow reduction helps avoid continuing to heat an individual room at full radiator output after it has reached the chosen comfort level.
• Reduce the risk of freezing in colder conditions: The frost setting provides a safeguard for very cold conditions by allowing the valve to open slightly when temperatures fall sufficiently low.
• Get the complete valve pair in one purchase: Supplying a matching lockshield alongside the TRV means both visible valve positions can be completed as one coordinated set.
• Plan the radiator connection with the right valve shape: Angled valves suit common layouts where pipework rises from the floor to meet a side-entry radiator connection.
• Tailor radiator output to the room's needs: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: Temperature changes cause the wax sensor to expand or contract, allowing automatic control of the valve mechanism.
• Make the valve set part of the radiator's overall look: The classic valve profile adds a decorative finishing touch that works naturally with traditional radiator styles. The Anthracite colour with a matt finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Add longer-term confidence to the purchase: With a 3 years guarantee, the set comes with added reassurance for the years after installation.
